Some of your data does leave your computer. This page says exactly what.
What may leave your device
Your prompt, content of files the agent reads, output of commands, and path names used to perform the task may be sent through our control plane to a model provider.
What does not leave by default
Files the agent does not open, files outside approved folders, and operating-system passwords or keys are not collected by the task flow.
Local execution is not local inference
“Runs on your device” describes command and tool execution. It does not mean that all task context remains on the device. The distinction is shown in the product before local work begins.
Account and service data
We retain account, device, task, usage, and audit records needed to provide the service, enforce fair use, investigate incidents, and meet legal obligations. Final retention periods depend on the operating jurisdiction and contract.
